Overview
The C’Ville Social Bar Sports league will be structured as a weekly head-to-head matchup between 2 teams, that will rotate through the 4 assigned sports.? A total of 17 points will be awarded as outlined below (4 for Darts, 4 for Cornhole, 4 for Shuffleboard, and 5 for Flip Cup).? Teams may have up to 6 players on their roster.
Teams
At least 4 players from each team must throw, and teams may rotate other players between turns.
Equipment
All equipment (darts, boards, etc.) will be provided by C’Ville Social. Players are permitted to bring their own darts.
Games Rules
- Each player throws a maximum of three darts per turn. A player is not required to throw all three darts every turn.
- Darts that fall off the board at any point do not count and may not be thrown again.
- Players stand at the ?throw? line. It is legal to lean over the line. They may step on, but not across, the line.
Scoring
- The object is to close the numbers 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15 and Bull?s Eye in any order before your opponent. A total of 4 points will be awarded for the Darts rotation, 1 point for each win (for example, if Team A wins 3 of the games, they get 3 points, and Team B gets 1 point).
Teams
At least 2 players from each team must throw, and teams may rotate other players between turns.
Court Layout
Boards are placed approximately 27? apart from each other (measuring from the front of each board) for indoor play. ?
Equipment
C’Ville Social provides all the equipment. This consists of 2 Official C’Ville Social Cornhole Boards and 8 bags. ?4 bags are one color and 4 are a different color.
Game Rules
- For honors (the team that tosses first), Rock, Paper, Scissors will be played with the winner choosing order.
- Honors will flip-flop each turn.
- 2 players per team on opposite sides, with 4 bags each. ?Players may rotate between turns, but the same player must take all 4 throws per turn.
- Opponents alternate tossing the bags onto the board/into the hole, until all 8 bags have been thrown.
- Bags may be knocked off the board or in the hole by other tossed bags.
- The thrower must stand behind the front foot line (the front edge of the board) of the Cornhole board. ?They may toss from either side of the board.
Scoring
- First team to score or exceed 21 points wins the game.
- 3 points for a bag in the hole and 1 point for a bag on the board.
- Cancellation scoring. ?For example, Team 1 gets one bag in the hole and one bag on the board = 4 points. ?Team 2 gets one bag in the hole = 3 points. The final score from that round would be Team 1 with 1 point (4-3=1).
- If the sport rotation comes before a team reaches 21, the highest score after an even number of turns earns the 4 points for the win.
Fouls & Zero Points
- If the thrower crosses the front foot line and tosses, they lose that toss (give or take a few inches) and the bag may be removed from the board.
- If someone tosses out of turn, they lose that toss and the bag may be removed from the board.
- Bags hitting the ground first and rolling onto the board do not count. ?You may remove the bag from the board.
- Bags hanging off the board and touching the ground do not count.
- Bags hanging off the board and resting on another bag, which is on the floor, do not count. ?However, if the bag on the ground can be removed without making the hanging bag fall to the ground, then one point is given.
- If there is any type of interference, the player may toss again.
Teams
Teams will split up in pairs and compete using two shuffleboards. Teams that have more than 4 players may rotate players through in between turns.
Equipment
All equipment will be provided by C’Ville Social.
Game Rules
- For honors, each team will designate a player, and each designee will attempt to slide their puck closest to the far edge, with the winner choosing order.
- The team who scored in the last round keeps advantage (goes second) in the next round.
- 2 players per team on opposite sides, with 4 pucks each. ?Players may rotate between turns, but the same player must take all 4 throws per turn.
- Opponents alternate sliding the pucks, until all 8 pucks have been thrown.
Scoring
- First team to score or exceed 21 points wins the game.
- Knock-off Scoring will be used. The team who has thrown their puck closest to the end of the board scores all the points in that round. Only the pucks that are ahead of your opponent’s deepest weight are added together for the score for that round.
- If the sport rotation comes before a team reaches 21, the highest score after an even number of turns earns the 2 points for the win for that table.
- 2 points will be awarded to each table winner, with a total of 4 points awarded for the shuffleboard rotation (i.e. Team A wins on table 1, and Team B wins on table 2; both teams are awarded 2 points)
Teams
The whole team must play; if the number of players present for both teams is unequal, the team with fewer players will designate the required players to go twice.
Equipment
All equipment will be provided by C’Ville Social.
Games Rules
- Teams will line up on opposite sides of the table, and race one at a time to finish their drink and flip their cup.
- To flip the cup, it must be placed on the edge of the table and flipped over.
- If he or she is not successful on the first try, the cup must be reset and re-flipped. ?
- If two hands are used the flip is not counted and the cup must be reset right side up. ??
- Only after the first teammate has successfully flipped their cup upside down, can the next person proceed.
- The team to flip all of their cups first wins that game.
- If the last two players? (the ?anchors?) cups hit the table at the same time the first cup that comes to rest is the winner.
- In the event of a true tie, the anchors will have a head-to-head, sudden-death flip off.
- If one team has fewer players than the other, the necessary vacant spots are set up and start the round vacant. The spots are then filled in order starting with the first player (i.e. – Team A has 4 players, and Team B has 5 players. Team A would set up 5 stations, and player A1 would move to the 5th spot upon completion of his/her turn).
Scoring
- Teams will play 5 rounds each week.
- 1 point will be awarded to the winning team for each round, for a maximum of 5 points.
